Wang Yafan
Wang Yafan (; born 30 April 1994) is a Chinese tennis player.
Wang has won two doubles titles on the WTA tour, as well as seven singles and five doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career. On 20 July 2015, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 125. On 9 November 2015, she peaked at world number 57 in the doubles rankings.
Wang made her WTA tour debut at the 2014 Shenzhen Open, partnering Zheng Jie in doubles.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Shenzen Open 2014 )〕 The pair won their first round match against wildcards Sun Ziyue and Xu Shilin,〔 and defeated third seeds Irina Buryachok and Oksana Kalashnikova in their quarterfinal, before losing to eventual tournament champions Monica Niculescu and Klára Zakopalová in the semifinals.〔
In September 2014 at the Guangzhou Open, Wang was given a wildcard into the singles main draw and advanced to the semifinals, upsetting the number one seed and world number 20 Samantha Stosur in round one, and qualifiers Petra Martić and Zhang Kailin along the way.
